World Junior Hockey Odds for Tuesday, December 29
Posted Under: General
There are two World Junior Hockey game on the slate today, including Team Canada vs. Slovakia (7:30 p.m. ET, TSN).
The other game, which will be a little more competitive, features Sweden vs. Russia (6 p.m. ET, TSN2).
As far as betting opportunities are concerned, for the Canada-Slovakia game we’ll look at puckline (i.e. goal spread) odds since straight up odds are ridiculous – Canada is a 1.02 (or -5000) favorite.
For the Sweden-Russia game, we’ll focus on the straight up odds.

I like the Bet365.com odds better in this case. The payoff is not as great, but Canada only has to win by five as opposed to six goals in order for them to cover the spread.

Both Sweden and Russia beat Austria by only four goals. Based on that fact alone, Russia at 2.75 would has some decent underdog value.
Bet365.com, Bwin.com and 5Dimes.com are safe, reliable, licenced sportsbooks that accept Canadian players. I highly recommend all three of them.
